On Monday I shared with you my bottom five picks for the top 10 new products from this year’s Natural Products East in Boston. Now, here are my top five!
#5: Green Circle brands: Kaia House, Chemically Naked, Wilde Scents, and Hudson Organics. This was one of those teeny-tiny booths, full of a really cool, interesting, and informed bunch of beauty products and brands. I look forward to trying them out, but at first glance, they seem awesome.
#4: ManukaMED medical-grade honey products from New Zealand. You can get bandages with honey on them! Honey is a natural antibiotic…this is first time I’ve seen it on bandages. Also, the cough drops really worked well. I needed them, since I had a horrible cough.
#3: Mini Pops organic, gluten-free, whole grain popped sorghum! This company has a very cool story about how sorghum is much easier to grow than corn and doesn’t have the husks that get stuck in your teeth! Tastes really good, too. Tiny pieces, but it tastes just like popcorn, only more tender.
#2: Organic lemonade mix from Panorama Foods Inc. (PFI). FINALLY, a powdered organic instant lemonade mix…and it’s not too sweet, either! Very refreshing.
#1: Stonyfield Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt, pre-mixed with fruit. YUM! I would eat this every day for breakfast. With nuts. And then, I’m good to go.
How about you—have you seen any new products lately? Which do you like best?
Im a popcorn freak, but sometimes I get that hard peice that cover the kernel after they are popped stuck in my gums. This is going to be interesting to try, the sorghum. I look forward to it. Sometimes popcorn can be too tough. Love Stoneyfield Farms Oikos Greek Style Yogurt. I prefer to put my own fruit in there though. I don’t want the sugar but I’m sure it’s not so much when they add the fruit. I have some in the fridge as I blog that I am on my way to eating.
Thanks for the list Maria. Some of the newest products listed I already use the original product. This just makes choosing better.
Forgive the typos.
My favorite new product at the show was Purely Elizabeth’s organic gluten free cookies. All three flavors were outstanding! The flavors are chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and oatmeal cherry chocolate chip. Everyone seemed to love them.
LOVED Mini Pops popped sorghum. And No hulls to get caught in the teeth.
