This deep-blue smoothie is a detox powerhouse that can help you get back on the clean-eating track: Just one serving packs 50 percent of your daily requirement for vitamin C, 10 percent of your vitamin A, 8 percent of your iron, and 8 percent of your potassium.
Not too shabby for a flavorful single glass.
90-Calorie Blueberry Detox Smoothie
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 2 cups coconut water
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 2 cups frozen blueberries
- ½ frozen banana
- 2 Tablespoons spirulina powder
- 1 cup ice (optional)
Directions:
- Place all the ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth, and serve.
NUTRITION (per serving): 90 calories, 3 g protein, 21 g carbohydrates, 3 g fiber, 13 g sugars, 1 g fat, 0 g saturated fat, 75 mg sodium
